I will take it upon myself to enlighten you yet again (fer free<g>!).
An SE is a Strange Emu, a big bird what don't fly none. They grace the front lawns of rich folk as the traditional Arab used to; completely useless just to show they had enough cold cash so as to show they didn't have to be burdened by practicality. A "related" is an Ostrich which goes head-to-head with the Emu as an exotic lawn ornament.
Back in Missouri, Mary Ann *was* into arabs but in moving to Montana she
suffered from HIGH COUNTRY SYNDROME. Had to get rid of her Straight Egyptians and Egyptian related=NOT STRAIGHT=boo hiss! bloodstock and
procure herself some Strange Emui and a couple high strutting Ostrichs to populate the barn area. Folks thought she was strange, even by Montana
standards!!
