ewereeka When I was walking the trail today instead of riding- due to rule 16 which states that I won't ride when the temperature is lower than 40F, I was struck(literally) by an amazing insight! You might be interested to know that rule 16 is bracketed by rule 15 which states that I won't ride if the horses are running in the fields when I turn onto the barn lane (obviously tempests are afoot) and rule 17 that states that I won't ride if the wind is either 15+MPH in any direction or 10+ from the West.. yep, tempests churning the ambience again. One must live by cautions; like rule 5, don't ride if he, Panache, orbits his stall twice or more as I approach with his carrots: excessive zeal. The solid TTTHHHUUUDDD agaisnt my helmet- caused by walking into a lowhanging tree limb - because walking a horse trail can be as dangerous as riding a horse trail thus the helmet - jarred a wonderous revelation into consciousness: make New Year's Resolutions that you WANT to keep: be happy and successful simultaneously!!! For example, a person might vow to consume a pound of chocolate per week. I might attempt to acquire another girlfriend (jes kiddin<g>). Try a third time to get that mare artifically inseminated by that Australian stallion (maybe there's equity in your SOs business if the house and farmette are tapped out). Buy an exotic Norwegian Fjord. Plunk it into the field with your laid-back, placid Arabs. Enjoy the resulting display of *PRESENCE* while they exclaim "OMIGOD OMIGOD -- an ALLLien!!!" - in short - resolve to Have Fun!
