What does a Robert Jordan fan do between books? S/he writes,
paints, invents and discusses WOT related stuff and finally
creates a website! |

The
Illustrated Wheel of Time Worldbook
The Worldbook provides some general information about the world of the Wheel of Time series, lavishly illustrated with artwork by fans on the Internet.
|
|
This is the book
cover of the first part of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time
series. Today the eighth book is out and the poor, addicted
readers around the world are desperately waiting for the next
installment. Jordan has created a complex universe of his own,
filled with female and male characters you can really care
about. While those remarkably human heroes struggle to save
their world from a being called The Dark One the reader feels
involved, s/he loves, hates, suffers and laughs right along
with them.

The
L-Space Web: A Terry Pratchett / Discworld Web Site |
|
In his Discworld
novels British writer Terry Pratchett combines fantasy
with humour and the result is unbeatable. I love the
series and am looking forward to every new book - they seem to
get better and better! Sometimes the stories are not just
funny, but also very deep and touching, even philosophical.
Hard to explain how Death can become such an endearing
character, isn't it? |

The
Covington Cross Fan Page |
|
The adventures of
medieval family Grey were shown only for a very short time on
television. But this series left a lasting impression, as the
fan page proves. The story: Widower Sir Thomas Grey has a
difficult time trying to control his sword-fighting,
heart-breaking, fun-loving sons and his fierce daughter. His
love interest, Lady Elizabeth, and his arch enemy, John
Mullens, add spice to the already interesting mixture. If you
can get your hands on a videotape of the episodes, don't
hesitate! They are fun to watch - again and again.
